Italtel: Voip infrastructure
Cable & Wireless Europe, Asia & US (EAUS) has selected network equipment group Italtel as prime supplier to expand its VoIP infrastructure via voice transit evolution (VTE). The VTE network will use an Italtel open softswitch platform, along with third-party media gateways to transform C&W’s legacy voice network with a new all-IP telephony core.
