A federal judge has dismissed a defamation claim made against a legal weblog by Philadelphia’s best-known aviation lawyer, Arthur Alan Wolk. U.S. District Judge Mary McLaughlin, in an opinion Monday, said that the statute of limitations had expired when Wolf filed his lawsuit. McLaughlin said a blog is the same legally as any other form of mass media in that any libel lawsuit must be filed within one year from date of publication.
