Yahoo! rejects Microsoft takeover
Yahoo! has rejected the unsolicited takeover offer from Microsoft. After reviewing the bid with its financial and legal advisers, Yahoo!’s board said it unanimously concluded that the proposal is not in the best of interest of the company and its shareholders. Microsoft has offered USD 31 per share in cash or shares for Yahoo!, valuing the company at USD 44.6 billion.
